Kodak Supra 400 Print Film

I don't usually write film reviews... there are too many of them anyway. But, occasionally I find one I really like. What's more surprising is that this one is a color print film. There's not much to say other than I really like this stuff. It's fast at ISO 400, it's got rich color, and the resolution is fantastic for a 400 speed color print film. The frame on the left was shot on a sunny day with an EOS 3 and a 70-200 f/4L USM lens at 200mm and f/4. The lens is obviously of the highest quality, which definitely influences the results on film. At the right is an actual pixels enlargement of part of the headset the man is wearing. You can actually make out the writing on it, which I think is a testament to modern film emulsions and Canon L series glass.

My only pet peeve with this film is that it's a little too saturated in the red channel. But this is easily fixable in PhotoShop. If I shoot color print film (I usually don't. It's either B&W or color slides for me) this is the one I use. Although I have yet to try Reala....
